|

So I ordered a book from 교보문고 book store recently, and on the day of the delivery the one who was delivering it obviously called me, yet I had missed the phonecall. A message was left saying that the delivery had been left at the bottom of the stairs (물건 계단밑창고에 있다고..) so when I got home to look, I could not find it anywhere. Not in my postbox, in the lobby or outside on the steps. Does this mean someone has had off with it? -_- |

Most likely. I ordered a new AC adapter for my laptop as well as a new keyboard and when I got home, both had been left in my tiny mailbox, someone had opened both boxes and even took part of the adapter out of the box and put the box with the keyboard inside into someone elses mailbox...maybe opening someones mail isn't a federal offense here, or maybe it's OK because I am a low ranking foreigner. |

I get stuff delivered to school. Early on when I first got here my ex-girlfriend sent me a package and it never arrived. My mom sent me a package 2 weeks ago and it hasn't arrived yet.
What can you do? One is a pain but two makes me so mad I could shit. |

I got the address for work in Korean and sent that to everyone. Now everything arrives (with address in both Korean and English).
Last year I got maybe 50% of what was sent. |

Yea, the first two things that were sent to me were english only. One arrived which you can't complain aboout. If you sent something to an english country in Korean do you think it would arrive?
Last couple have been in Hangeul and English. Just sent a PDF to all my potentially gift giving friends and family. All arrived except for this last one (so far). Is there anything you can do if it has a valid address? |

Of 14 items sent to me before, all have arrived safely. I never knew my building even had a storage room. I just assumed he meant the storage boxes for mail, which are large enough to accommodate small packages. |

My packages usually get left with the security guard. |

Was it sent air mail?
Sometimes things are delayed at customs if they open them.
Fingers crossed it will show.
Unless it was registered there will be no tracking available but it is worth calling the post office...(not sure here but Japan has an English helpline number, there must be something similar here.) I know a guy in Japan who got ALL the mail for ALL the foreigners in his area, |
