I recently got an international visa card from my bank, primarily to send home and try to eliminated the back charges for international transfers. However i was also hoping to use it to shop online but so far i've used it twice and twice it has failed. Has anyone had any experience with this? is there something else i need to switch on? The card is a standard Visa card and works as a cash card and in shops. |

Mine has a safety feature where I have to enter a certain code. I believe the website has to be a member of this code-checking feature, or it may not work. Talk to your bank. |

I was told I had to phone up wooribank to actually activate the international feature. you would have thought a visa card would automatically be international, but I guess not in Korea.
I never bothered in the end as I would have got screwed with the exchange rate. |
