What town is easier to get to Beijing from after taking the boat there?
Would it be about the same price to fly into Beijing? |

My advice is to fly directly to Beijing. If you have a lot of time, then boat and train would be ok just for the adventure. Really depends on you vacation time. |

Fly. I'm assuming you're training from Beijing to Tibet already, so fly and save some time. Five weeks isn't enough to really travel all of those places. |

I would fly straight to Beijing. After that I would fly to the city in China that had the earthquake( cant think of the name right now) . Stay at Sims backpackers and fly into Tibet. Take a overland landcruiser tour into Nepal. Buy a cheap ticket to Delhi from Katmandu. Ya you should have 6 months for this trip. |

Make sure you make a diary of your trip and let us know how the trip went. 5 weeks is pushing it. But if you can do it, someday might want to try it. Sounds like you will spend about 4 days in each place. Keep us informed. |

First of all, you should have flown into Beijing. Qingdao is no place to be in the winter time. After Beijing, you can fly to Chengdu. I recommend the Mix hostel. Mix is a pretty cool guy. Chengdu is a pretty cool city. |
