| I wondered if anyone had any advice on getting a tourist visa extension as mine is about to run out. |

| When mine was running out, my hogwon took care of getting it renewed that was until I did my visa run. |

All you need to do is go to the local immigration office and ask for it. 30 days is the extension, I think, plus a small fee. Be sure to say you're not working, or else that can get you in trouble.
Make anything up...Visiting a friend and you want to travel a bit more, visit Kyeongju and other historical sights, anything. Don't even HINT that you're here to do a private or work in any way...They'll personally board and fasten your belt on the next plane outta here. |

Depends on where you are from and if you have an actual C3 visa or just a "tourist" visa waiver stamp.

Yeah, Korean Immigration has NO IDEA anyone is teaching on a tourist visa. No idea at all.  |
