Anyone know where I can buy oatmeal (Quaker oats or other kind) in Seoul?

They have it at Costco but it's in small flavored, saches.

I'm looking for good old, plain oatmeal in large quantities.

Thanks.

You can get it from this place online. They will take a credit card or I think you can just do a bank transfer to their account from an ATM. I have bought stuff from them about 10 times with no problems.

Every black market has both the large 42 oz and the smaller size.I just also saw some at the underground market in Namdaemoon. The stuff is everywhere and every place Ive been just raised the big container from ten to 12 to now 14,000 won.Of course you can get a discount if you haggle but these days they seem less eager to negotiate citing "the economy."

That website is ridiculous. What a waste of money. I'd rather flush it down the toilet.

Put the korean word for oats into Gmarket

There you go.

Lots of oatmeal to be found.

Not exactly rocket science is it?

Texaspangler.

Big box, good deal, if the shipping's cheap then its definately better than the black market prices. You bascially get four times as much product for a little over twice the price.Wish I had known about it before having now only two weeks left in the country!
