Who do you guys use to fly out of Korea. Round trip to the UK and a stop over on the way back in Thailand or Laos.
Thanks |

Aeroflot go into the UK via Moscow. Cheap and quick. Failing that, it seems that most flights involve hubbing in Hong Kong. I took a round trip with Virgin in August. Out through HK but back via Shanghai, so it was a bit quicker on the return leg. I've never been, but I'd imagine factoring in a Thai stopover will probably add coin whichever way you do it. |

Last July/August, the hubby and I flew with KLM via Amsterdam. The price was 536 quid each including tax, which I thought was reasonable considering the time of the year.
Check out KLM website, they have colour coded days, just match 2 cheap days together to get the cheapest flight.
We had 6-7 hrs to kill in Amsterdam. We checked out, caught a train which took 10 mins into the city centre (there are trains every 10mins from the airport to the city centre) and spent the day looking around the city and the red light districtwhich was a big eye opener for my Korean husband!
I know it is not via Thailand and what you wanted, but Ive not found anyone cheaper than KLM when it comes to a round trip to the UK.
Although I must warn you, we had no TV on the flight and the food was terrible ( Isnt all plane food crap?) The service from the staff was naff too. But I guess you get what you pay for! |

That sounds great. I am fine tuned to sleep on all flights and not to wake up until landing, so I don't care about the service, just the price is important and at 560 quid I would snap their hand off. I'll have a butchers now. Thanks again. |

You could have just brought him to Yongsan or any of the many many red light districts in Seoul! Not much difference. |

Little bit higher now at 650 quid, but still reasonable.
Does anyone have anyother sites? |

If you truly want the layover in SE Asia, you'll have to bite the bullet and pay whatever THAI is charging you. A good site for Thai Air tix is travelg.co.kr (in Korean), or call Thai Air directly (or search on their website).
The upside is you can get either in outbound or inbound stay of up to 30 days in Thailand for no extra cost of your original ticket to the UK. The downside is that Thai Air will probably be more expensive than a KLM flight, since they Dutchmen generally are the cheapest to Europe, as someone else mentioned. |

Emirates sometimes have good deals. A friend managed to get a 450 return via Dubai in the Summer. |
