BoA is a youthful singer signed to Korean based entertainment powerhouse S.M. Entertainment where at the age of 13 she began a rigorous training schedule that would develop and fine tune her already potent singing and dancing skills. By her mid-teens, the stunningly beautiful talent had released several albums in Korea, including her highly acclaimed debut "ID; Peace B" followed by "Listen to My Heart," her debut Japanese release. With 14 albums between the two countries to her credit, BoA has decided to take her show on the road... to the United States of America. Basically, she's coming out and she wants the world to know.
To kick off this stateside introduction and international transition, BoA was joined by more than 200 journalists from Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the United States for the public announcement of her forthcoming American debut. The event took place on September 10, 2008 in Korea with interpreters of three languages working simultaneously -- a marvel to see. The event concluded with a preview of the first single "Eat You Up."
The up tempo, R&B fueled, pop dance party hit "Eat You Up" by BoA was released digitally on October 21, 2008 to all major markets with her American debut to follow at the top of 2009. Available on her official website: www.BoAAmerica.com are two video teasers of the premiere single along with audio. The full length video for "Eat You Up" will be available for digital purchase on November 11, 2008.

I didn't like the beats... too slow for my taste. Not enough complementary instruments I suppose, although it might boom boom on a subwoofer. |
