Car is still available.

I had the Hyundai dealer come out to look at it Saturday. And he gave me a pretty good trade in value for the car.

Either way its going by the end of this week.

Cheers

Not exactly track them down.. i just didnt get all my tickets in the mail. so i had to visit city hall to get a print out.. they didnt have all of them so i had to go to the police office and get another printed out. i thought u could just make one payment to either the police station or city hall. no so. after getting the print out i had to call city where the ticket was given. from there i was given information how to make the payment..

it was a big hassle. obviously they are not networked.

UPDATE:

I have decided to not sell my car. I weighed the benefits keeping the car ass opposed to buying th Genesis coupe. Instead i've decided to drop a turbo in the car from Seoulfulracing.

The kit includes the following:

Stage 2-Super kit will produce about
Manual tranny (290-300whp,38kg.m(274lb.ft)-40kg.m(289lb.ft))

Components

- Garrett T3 60 turbo (Fast spool up time,not much lag,good torque)
- Spark plugs NGK 9
- 2.5 bar MAP sensor
- 630cc Injectors
- Turbo 8.5:1 Low compression gasket
- Blow Off valve
- Turbo piping set
- All necessary silicone hoses, vacumme hoses and clamps
- Intercooler
- Inline hose (Head->Turbo) and Outline hose (Turbo->Oilpan)
- Turbo Manifold
- Turbo diffusor and downpipe
- Clutch metal cover and pressure plate (opitonal for Manual tranny)
- SFR remapped ECU
- External wastegate type Manifold
- Fuel Return line setup
- Manual boost controller
- Tial 38mm 1Bar(14.7psi)set Wastegate
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
- New clutch kit

Will produce more power than the Genesis Coupe GT380.

And shouldnt cost anymore than 6 mil all in. Although i'll need to get 3' piping for the exhaust but that shouldn't be too much as i'll get it ordered from usa using my friends APO mailing address.. hehe.. no need to pay for shipping to korea when my friend works for the US govnt.

I'll keep you all posted on how the car enjoys the new turbo. and pics will come asap.

Cheers.. and thanks to those taking interest.

oh man.. what to do what to do????

I just found new pics of the Genesis coupe..

Car is still up for grabs..

But the clock is ticking.. i reckon its just a matter of time until i drop the turbo in it.. but man oh man, i love that new genesis coupe.

I will have to wait this out a bit more.

For what its worth the hyundai dealer last week offered me 6 mil trade in value for it.. not bad considering they will mark it up for more.

I think I had one of those in Thailand once. Unintentionally, of course.

Eh .. a 'fast' car in Korea doesn't really make that much sense in my opinion. Yeah, it's fun, but then there's the traffic and the speed cameras... Bikes, in this regard, are far more fun.

The attraction of the Genesis coupe is that it's new, more refined, more comfortable, fast, roomier, good brakes, and an all-round better car.

A turboed tuscani still looks like a tuscani, and - as the guy in the SM7 found out today - it's not power that gets you through traffic, it's skill (and I'm in my slow-ass truck).

IMO, if you just want a more powerful tuscani, the 2.7 elisa is kind of tempting.. you'd be out a little less money than turboing your own car.

Personally, I'd wait for the Genesis coupe hard-top convertible that's supposed to be coming in a year or two.

True i agree with you there.. Thats why i am toying with the idea of turbo or the genesis coupe.. the convertible will run you i am guessing about 40 mil for the GTR-380 full package if not more.

As for high speed in korea.. well forget about it. But its always nice when that turbo kicks in while someone is right up your ass.

The tuscani eliza 2.7 will get u maybe 180 bhp.. the tubro (stage 2 super kit) I4 tuscani will get you 300 whp. BIG DIFFERENCE in power.

The Genesis is out now. I saw one the other night. Nice looing car. The from is a little too much like a Tuscani, but the rear end has nice lines.

Even in Excellent (showroom) condition, your ride is valued at about $5000 for private sale fully loaded. Trade it in and you'd maybe get $2000 if they discount the new car you are buying.

At the end of the day, you got to remember that you have a Hyundai.... No matter how much 'stuff" you 'pimp' it up with, it's always going to be a Hyundai.....

I'll give you $3000 and you can keep your subs and navi.....

The dealership offered me $2000 on my 2001 Matiz. You're waaaaaay off mark here.

Being a long time owner of various Mitsubishi Turbos in the States, I know that Hyundai used Mitsu designs for their engines for many years. I was told by some Korean friends that they had started using their own designs after 2003 or there abouts. I have driven the normal 4 cyl. Tuscani and was seriously underwhelmed. There was no power at all. The car was way too heavy. I have seen the turbo modded cars around and have been curious about them.

I am wondering if the engine was designed to withstand the heat and pressure created by a turbo.
