Something for the Republicans - Bobby Jindal.

Who thinks we will be hearing a lot more of him in several years time?

The guy is only 37. Even if he doesn't try running for president in 2012, in 2016 he'll only be 45, younger than Obama is now.

After 2 terms of Democrat rule, the US will swing to the right (like clockwork) and go to the Republicans. Unless Obama does some really really great things.

Definitely not for eight years. Obama won this time partly because the country was so sick of GOP rule and it's doubtful they'll have the same desire in 2012. Note that governors all got their clocks cleaned this year, every single one. Executive experience turned out to be good for absolutely nothing in 2008.

He claims to have performed exorcisms. His right-wing Catholicism might appeal to the base, but be viewed as Palin Redux by moderates. As a Hindu who converted to Catholicism, I wonder what sort of appeal he'd have to the Indo-American community. Or if that community is even worth courting in US politics.

This is true, and it may be after only one term.

Americans have really short memories. Even the disaffection after Watergate lasted only one election.
