Hey does anyone know/heard what the snow season for this winter will be or even if there are long range forecast on weather here?
I know last year wasn't great - I know korea does not have great snow fall compared to Japan (so I heard). |

It's already snowed on Sorak Mountain.
On the east coast mountains there is plenty of snow in the winter. Quite a difference from Seoul. |

We gonna hit up some snowboarding again this year, Mr. Smith? As long as it's not Yongpyeong again. I will never go back there after that icey knee injury. |

The highs have been in the 60's this week. It was a warm Fall and it's been warm into mid-November. |

Agreed - would prefer not to go to Yongpyeong again would like to see if High1 is the place to go. The great thing is the bus that takes you to High1 (all those buses that leave from Lotte World in Jamsil) is 250 meters from my apartment. So no bus and long long train rides to get over to the east of Seoul.
Just a shame to see my little Burton board sitting iddle for 10 months. |

It's starting to get cold as it got down into the mid 30's Fahrenheit last night. Another month and it will definitely be freezing cold enough to snow. The mornings are starting to get challenging. Winter is long... |

I found winter to be short here. Challenging yes, but not long. I can remember by late February this year I was already managing with just a single decent jacket and t-shirt. |
