The other day I felt something at the back of my throat, so I coughed it out. My co-worker asked 'Do you have a cold? You'd better go to the hospital'.

Also, when I see bright lights, I tend to sneeze. I don't know why, but I do. Another person asked me the same question.

Next thing is, I will sleep with the fan on and they'll plan my funeral.

And they may know something you don't. Don't go to the hospital, go to your local GP and ask for Ciprofloxacin, that should kill whatever they're not telling you it is. Anything broad spec should kill. A shot of Vancomycin in your butt will take care of it too.

It can't be cured. It just said medication can relieve the symptoms.

The point of the thread was that so many people automatically think that a sneeze or cough is a cold, when there are so many other causes.

I guess if I sneeze from inhaling pepper, I must have a cold, right?

YAH.

If they hear you sneeze and cough and think it's a cold, maybe they know something you don't, ie, maybe something is going around. Jesus you're lightbulb.

I've had this lingering throat problem the last few weeks. Actually, it's on and off. It's either the pollution or the mold from my apartment. (Every store has a humidifier, but I can't find a dehumidifier this time of year.)

going to hospital seems to be the answer to everything here........i am trying to convince my students that a headache or a cough or the flu is not a reason to go to the doctor, unless it is very severe. after all, doctors can't cure some things, only time will get you better.....but i don't think they believe me, lol Very Happy
