Anyone else thinking that this is a good replacement now that Supernatural is done?

Supernatural is not finished. Season four starts in a few weeks. You almost gave me a heart attack when you said that...i had to go check. Supernatural is one of my four tv shows i still keep up with over here.

thanks. i'll check it out. always great to be turned on to a new, good tv show. supernatural started to suck after the 2nd season or so.

prison break has also jumped the shark.

Prison break jumped the shark after season 1. I think the problem was the show started with a definite end in sight,, ie breaking out of prison. That was the logical end. By that point it was too popular to end.

True blood is pretty damn good and has the best opening credits i've ever seen.

I think they should have stuck to just vampires.

It's very disappointing. They're quickly abandoning both the plot and characters of the books and are replacing them with sensationalist crap. The show will probably fail quickly. Just read the books instead.

But damn, the women sure are gorgeous

It's good, going through a cycle of an average episode followed by a good one, bit like Heroes at the moment.

It's low budget as some of the special effects look corny and the actors are a bit wooden but the music, direction and storyline are quality. Hopefully it'll return for a second season with a bigger budget.

Kinda a spoiler, even though the ep in question has been online for a fortnight so turn away if you're catching up...

When Bill staked that vampire in the bar the other week, I was expecting the turn to dust special effect a la Buffy, the gory gushing of blood everywhere was a cool suprise.
