Where do I go to get one? Obviously a photo shop, but I haven't actually seen any around where I work (Gangnam Stn) or live (HBC). Can anyone recommend a good place to go?
It's important that they know and follow all the rules to make a valid photo for a Canadian passport because I don't have time for a redo if it gets sent back as not good enough. I'd just use the photos I have (not what was on the old passport) but I'm paranoid that they will somehow be not good enough.
Tried to search but couldn't find anything even close to relevant on the first three pages of "passport" and "photo" searches. |

Seriously? There are photo taking and processing places all over. Look for a brand name on a sign, like Fuji or Kodak. I find it hard to believe there are none in Gangnam.
Also, many subway stations have a do-it-yourself machine. |

You should be able to find one at the base of a Lotte or Samsung department store. Or you can go to Itaewon and use the Kodak store on the main street, under Woodstock. |

Also, if you are American, there is a photo machine at the embassy (bring USD). |

There are 2 photo places just out the front door of the Kolon building (the OLD Canadian Embassy) that do them to spec.
There is also a place just down the street from the current embassy that does them as well. http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/world/embassies/korea/site/images/map_studio-lg-en.gif.

Thanks, Ttompatz!
Guys, I said a DIY machine was nooooo good. No way am I trusting my own photo-taking skills on this one! I'm sure photo stores are everywhere (not that I've seen them, not something I normally look for), but I want one that will do it right the first time. I'm on a time limit. |
