Does anyone know about English Village in Paju and Yangpyeong. I don't know if they have a good record in terms of how they treat foreigners and what have you.

Thanks

Is the search engine that bad today? I can think of several very long threads on it.

There was a thread about EV in Paju a year or two ago. The OP said that they treated FT like English monkeys and conditions were horrible.

Actually if it was the one I started I said the were paid very well, the conditions were subjective, and the 'edutainers' I saw looked like they were being treated like monkeys.

I couldn't find the thread, because the search function wasn't working.

All I've heard is they have to teach the exact same things every day to different groups.

I live in Yangpyeong. I've heard the English Village is a stealth Christian outfit. Treat with caution unless you're a godbotherer yourself.

i live in YP too, and it is a small town, but I havent seen any of the teachers that work there. that means either they are bundled up with stupid schedules, no way into town, or having an absolute blast that they dont want to come to town, and none of them have stayed long enough to find it worth getting a car.

so i would assume something is bad there.
