Hey comrads, I'm still in my first month in Suwon. This is my first time visiting a communist country in person, the Stalinist architecture is breath taking in a drab way, rows upon rows of identical concrete buildings. Having a good time though, despite the unavailability of all my favorite foods. At least the vodka's cheap! |

When I first arrived in Incheon my first thought was, wow, does this ever remind me of Russia and Eastern Europe. |

But there's still Starbucks or so I've heard, so it can't be very communist after all, is it? |

I'm not sure exactly where I am but it's near a university with a long name I can't remember. |

You mean Sunkyunkwon Uni? Yes there's a starbucks there. There's also one by Suwon station (it's on the main road which runs parellel to the drinking street). |

Suwon is like a big unflushed toilet (well Suwon Station anyways). However, there are some nice looking women around there though, so it's not all bad. I have never seen so many piles of vomit in my life, trash strewn everywhere, just a lovely place. |

Yes, that could be it. It was something long starting with a letter like S, and I think it was a technical university.
I really don't need to find a Starbucks, I don't drink their stuff. I just find it ironic that a so-called communist country would have Starbucks, one of the biggest symbols of capitalism. |
