hello.

im planning on selling my canon xti setup. going to upgrade.

info.

body: about 2 and half years old now and has about 8k actuations on it
body is clean and took care of it well.

lens: 1) tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 - replaced the kit lens as canon's kit lens are known to be crap. this lens is one of the best lens for under 1k and is actually ranked with the "L" series lens(for it's quality vs price). lens is 2 years old and has had it's UV filter on at all times cept to clean. bought for 475 us dollars
2)canon 50mm f/1.8 lens. this lens is 2 years old as well. it's a great prime lens for it's price. good for portrait shots and low light. bought for 100 US dollars.

extras: HOYA super coated UV filter for the tamron lens.
3 batteries and charger
computer to camera cable
Canon RC-1 Wireless Remote

Unfortunately i dont have the manual or the boxes, left them back in the states when i came here.

can email me at [email protected] or 010-5596-5535. best regards

You may have better luck splitting up your package. The Xti has been replaced by the XSI, and the XS--don't expect to recoup what you paid for the body.

Your lenses are a different thing.

That 17-50 lens is a nice one. You should be able to get a decent deal on it, but probably not on this board. They go for a bit more in Korea than they do back home. I've seen them on sale for 650,000.

Same thing with your Canon prime. If you could somehow access the Korean market, you'll get more interest and probably more money than you will on this board.

I would be interested in buying the 50mm prime if you are willing to sell it by itself. There is a decent market for used camera stuff here in Korea. All it takes for determine market prices is a trip to Namdaemun. I usually try to buy/sell stuff for a price between what the camera shops will buy gear for and what they sell it for.
