How do foreign women who marry Korean men find living in Korean culture? The South Korean city of Daegu holds an event to try and help interracial couples start a new life without suffering from social discrimination.

-Here is the funny thing. Korean rice farmers can find a nice die vet girl to settle down with, and I'm still single. What have these guys got that I haven't got?

Money! They plop down something like 10,000,000 to 20,000,000 won to get one of those ladies. They literally show up and pick one out of a line-up of women. Just like candy on display! No joke!

I read a story online about a farmer who picked out his bride, and took her out for soju that night (they couldn't even communicate). He got piss drunk while she wasn't interested in drinking much. He took her home, and wanted to have sex. She wasn't interested in having sex with this drunk she just met (and married) so he beat the hell out of her. She ran away a few weeks later.

Interracial marriages in Korea account for more than 10% of all marriages annually, even more than in Japan. That's mainly due to Korean farmers buying mail-order brides rather than handsome white devils like us.

I hope he got his money back.

More likely he got an exchange.

Yeah, I'd rather the farmers buy mail-order brides than buy handsome white devils like us (although, for a price, who knows?)...
