I don't know if it's strictly the blonde hair/blue eyes combo or what, but it never fails that I'm out shopping, wearing conservative clothing, and I get propositioned.

Today at the bus stop, he was well-dressed but literally foaming at the mouth, telling me he was hungry and wanted to eat, saying "I have money." I pointed him to the kimbap place next door and jumped on the bus. OK there was more than that, but please can someone tell me how to say "F*ck off and leave me alone" to these jerks?

(In hangul is fine.)

I'm serious. This is not a cry for attention! It really upsets me when it happens, and even wearing baggy clothes and stuff doesn't seem to stop it.

Thank you.

Tell him you're not Russian. Smile

I know that's what he's thinking.

You're new here huh? I suspect most white chicks deal with that kind of thing early on. Don't make eye contact, or acknowledge them in any way, that's usually the best way to prevent these encounters. If all else fails, a sharp " Ya! Byuntae!" ( Pervert!) generally will shame them enough to send them away.

A blonde/blue-eyed friend of mine, who taught her a few years back, told me that the first sentence she learned in Korean was,

"Please go away, I'm not a prostitute and you're very rude for treating me like one".

Personally, I'd go for the classic, good ole, solid kick in the balls

I'm blonde haired and I sense these suckers inching closer to me at subways. Usually, I just inch farther away. They come closer and I move farther away or walk away if they're persistent. They get the message. I also avoid eye contact at all costs. If they try to talk to me, I ignore them. So far, I've only gotten propositioned once and come on two once in 1 1/2 months but it was hard to avoid since one time, it was by a salesguy in a shoe market and I was shopping for shoes in Namdaemun. At first though, I didn't realize how aggressive these ajossis could be and just thought they were friendly old men so I got propositioned quite a bit. I learned fast! You will too.

If somebody could translate "I'm not a prostitute you old pervert" into Korean, I'd be very grateful!

same thing happens to me a lot. yes, they think we're russian prostitutes/easy americans (if you're canadian, i'm sorry). the things that work the best for me: either ignore them completely and keep walking away, or stare right at them with the "i-will-beat-your-f@#kin'-face-in" glare. the latter works REALLY well for me. and it's kind of like a game...how many drunk old men can i scare off in one outing?

well played, Ciccone, well played.

But then when he says, "No, I'n Kolean."
You say, "Oh, well that sucks. Cuz if you were Japanese I would soooo do you right now!"

...then calmly turn and walk away.

He'll be devastated.

Thanks guys.
I get asked all the time if I'm Russian, very often by ajummas! But often these guys start off seeming innocent.
Hmm too bad I've not met any Russians here- in the sex trade or any other!
I've been propositioned in Italy as well, but I speak Italian, so I was happy tell them to go screw themselves. At the time I lived with 2 other American girls, both of whom were more than happy to show their patriotism and bring back various US marines every night (not even Italians, but Americans!!!).
Anyway, I will definitely have a few choice phrases prepared and not be caught off guard.

HIGHLY unusual.
