If you want to do a healing meditation holiday to Thailand I suggest this beach. Take a plane to Koh samui then a boat to Koh pagnon(sp?) go to where they have the full moon parties and take a mini boat or walk over the mountain to a place called the Sanctuary.

Walk past the Sanctuary and find a beach hut for around 300 a night. Great food and lot's of people doing meditation, healing and yoga on this beach.

Take a plane to Mumbai and then a bus or a car to Pune. The osho meditation resort is in Koregan park and they have a great meditation schedule for all levels. Lots of workshops and healing.

Take a palne to Chennai and then a car from the Airport to The Ramana Ashram. Do a search for Ramana Marharshi and you will get details of the towns name. Awesome mountain there and lots of spiritual people from every country.

It's definitely not a holiday, but if you're interested, check out Vipassana in the tradition of SN Goenka. To learn the technique you have to start with a ten-day "course" during which you don't speak, read, write, listen to music or do much of anything but meditate and learn the meditation technique. I've done a number of courses and have decided it's not my favorite technique, but it changes lots of people's lives.

I'm sure it's out of you way, but I knew a dude who hiked to El mirador in Guatemala and did a Vipassanna thing. He said it was greatest experience of his life.

Personally I think I would go insane.....
