Is this board constantly under attack? It seems like every other post I try to make -- at almost any time of the day or night lately -- is taking forever, or timing-out. I even get the old phpbb error message sometimes.

Is there anything we as users of this board can do to solve this problem? It's growing worse.

I thought it was a problem with my PC last night. Tried another site and everything loaded fine.

I waited 5 min and then it returned to normal. I think it just has its bad times. If it really is bad for you, Bass, maybe you've got an anti-virus or pop-up blocker that is slowing it down? (pure speculation) I had problems with some sites before that I attributed to an overactive pop-up blocker.

Good luck. If it doesn't work the first time, have a breather and come back later.
