I hear a lot of talk about what people think the won is going to do in the next 2 months.

Just post a number and we'll see at the end of the year who's full of crap.

I'm saying 1520 for the won to a dollar, 7900 for the Dow, and 980 for the Kospi

What's up?

The Korean govt will halt the slide of the value of it's currency by pegging the won against kimchi. Much the same way the US$ was pegged against gold way back when. This being the case you have nothing to worry about.

more of the same. 1300 - 1400 depending on the day. It will keep shifting violently for some time still. Those 100 point shifts make it hard to place it at the end of the year

Feeling as pessimistic about the economy as I do, and I have every reason to be so, I think we'll just continue to get horrible Xchange rates for a long time to come. Expect to see 1600 to 2000 per US dollar next year. I hope I'm wrong, but that seems like it would just be too good to be true just like dreaming about having a bank account with 6 or 7 figures to the dollar balance.
