From reading threads about saving money ect ect, here is a good tip for keeping warm in bed.

At E-mart they sell microwave/freezer/heat/cold packs. I got a large one for 5,000 won. Stick it in the microwave for a few mins and they stay hot for a good 30 mins +. I like a double whammy of that + my hot water bottle (I havent seen them in K yet).

The electric mats look good value at 100,000 won ish. I think I might get one of those this weekend.

But if you want to be (extra) Yiddish (i apologise to any Jews for the Yid thing) I highly recommend the microwave pack!

Masturbate. If you can get someone else to do it for you, then all the better.

I'm a fan of hot water bottles.

If I could get a cheap overnight rate from the underemployed suwon skanks with the provision of keeping the purity of the essence of the bodily fluids, I'd go for that; it's all fun and games with her keeping my bed warm until Hep C is in the final equation.

I cant wait for winter, cus right now I'm still just sleeping in my boxers, with a thin cotton sheet I brought over from Canada, with the windows open. Its way too bloody hot at night here still. Until I wake up breathing fog from the cold I won't be satisfied.

A bit shocked they don't have a threaded top, but the metal clamp thing works fine if you put it between the lines.
Last years elem. was so cold, I would take my bottle to school and fill it in the staffroom. Co-teacher would have the windows open.

I wore my mountain jacket and my co-teacher said, "That's a mountain jacket".
Thinking to myself, will you not take a hint. Idea

Interesting how Koreans sleep on the floor to stay warmer... so I kinda took that idea and meshed the western idea of sleeping on a bed. Anyways, I have a mattress on the floor. It's perfect. Soooo toasty warm in the winter! Cuz the heat seems to stay in the mattress and not escape. If you feel under the mattress, it's really warm. Anyways, my heat is on the lowest setting... so I save a ton of money, staying warm, toasty, and happy....
