My vote goes to Uposter. All of his posts I came across are well-thought, educating, articulate and easy on the eyes (his writing format).
Who is/are your favourite poster and why? |

ttompatz, surely, takes the prize. Informative, current, well-thought-out posts are the only kind he produces.
His responses to questions often cover the answer, and then answer related questions the original poster wouldn't even have considered yet for days.
I learn something new every time. |

He certainly is a valuable poster and contributed a lot to this cyber-community, too bad he's left! |

Despite my original attitude towards the guy, my vote goes to Ya-ta Boy. |

The more I read his posts, the more I think ddeubel is tompatz's sock!
They are both great. |

Ah, so many interesting posters...countless upon countless.
I'll go with sojourner1 today, as he had a pretty good post about Americans cars being way cool back in the day - 30-50 years ago.
Can we change this thread, to who is your favorite poster of the day? Way too many cool posters I like to just pick one, and I can't remember most of them either!

DOH! Crusher_of_Heads just posted...I like his posts too! Is it after midnight?...he is my next poster of the day. |

I mostly just lurk but I've always liked billybrobby.
Also Tomato, ttompatz, JongnoGuru, for general advice and insight. Yu Bum Suk's avatar always makes me pay closer attention to a comment. Kermo cracks my shit up and if I was in Korea I would make her be my friend. If I'm ever like, "I wonder what a normal person's reaction to [some random aspect of life in Korea] would be," I look for ciccone_youth, because she seems pretty down-to-earth with reasonable expectations for life in a foreign culture, and reasonable suggestions for adapting. Same for peppermint.
So feel special, you guys! This devastatingly gorgeous and brilliant girl better understands her Korean co-workers thanks to your wit and wisdom.
There are probably more people but it's hard to keep track of these things. Also I think I was supposed to pick just one. Oh well.

ddeubel because he has a lot of helpful posts. Even though he's critical on many things, I enjoy it.
I like reading a lot of jkelly's post. Almost 90% of the time I'll disagree with what he has to say, but I enjoy his alternating point of view. He's almost the antithesis of myself.
Wylies99 is pretty good. Usually pretty informative and level headed... Hate his avatar though. Fucking hate cats now. |

There are a few more who I have a lot of respect for but adding them would only dilute the list.

Caniff, Spliff and Drunken Master are the funniest posters.
Yingwenlaoshi and Crusher of Heads can be pretty entertaining as well.
As for the current events section- Gopher, Kuros and Mises all make interesting posts.
It's a shame that Spliff doesn't post anymore. |
