Hi
The new notebook I bought in korea has Korean Windows XP installed
Where can I find English Win XP Home and how much will it cost me here in Korea?
Im disappointed in that I now have to pay extra money on top of the computer I bought. I didnt realize it would have Korean windows installed
I didnt check, stupid me
Whats the cheapest way to get around this problem or is there any cheap way?

Thx

Get a refund if it's not too late and buy another notebook that comes with Windows Vista unless you don't want to use Vista?

Just ask the vendor first. There is a chance they may do a favor for you.

Well, I want to keep this specific netbook coz of its handy size/options
I seen Win XP on auction.co.kr, but not sure if its Korea or English.

Where can I get a copy for cheap? Online.. etc. ???

YOu can get a LEGAL copy for about 110k won at Yongsan (the microsoft kiosk or MS-shop) in the terminal building (the big blue one).

You can get an unauthorized distribution of XP or Vista (version of your choice) on torrents.

Hmm...110,000 or free....I choose free. Been using my version of (hacked) vista ultimate x64 for two years now and zero problems...that's 110,000 you could spend on US beef or whiskey.
