Cubanlord's vid is gone.

Someone must be making sure no bad vids about Korea are uploaded.

Oh yeah- the onion machine at Costco is definitely worth the trip, just to watch some people pile them up and eat them. Disgusting.

here's a gem from Costco;

a group of high school students are sitting at a table munching down the onion-mustard-ketchup mash, when one spits a HUGE greenish yellow loogie on the concrete floor.

Suffice to say, that was the end of my lunch.

Ahh Korea, "the birthplace of manners" ( a quote from an Arirang show)

This highlights my hate for most old ladies here. They elbow me on the subway. At first I felt bad for getting in the way, but now I just elbow back. I don't care. I'm a human being as well.

An ajumma pushing someone. Say it ain't so.

Actually, I get to see this practically everyday when riding the subway. I wish these old women had more manners, but I guess they don't mind giving Koreans a bad reputation.

If she is over 60 years old then she is a 노인 or 할머니. Not an 아주마. Anyway, maybe it was her first western style wedding and she didn't know better or she's just plain stupid. Back in the war, they wore han-boks I read.

I used to just let this kind of shit slide when I first got here. I'm not a big guy--5'6 so yeah I'm pretty short--so these old pieces of shit push me all the time. Old women and old men. Sometimes for no reason other than the fact they can (such as me just standing on the street until some old check cheap shots me.

Now I've had it. If any of these mother fuckers push me, they get the full force of the elbow. Some old guy's wife pushed me on the escalator. Just about knocked me back! She blew by me and I was so angry. Well, the next thing I know her husband tried the same shit. Grabs my shoulder, tries to pull me out of the way. So I let that guy have it. I elbowed him so hard that he had to grab the hand rail! Ha! It felt so good. He just looked at me, shock and anger in his eyes but he didn't do anything. Since that day, anyone who pushes me, woman or man, gets the elbow. Cultural relativity works both ways, don't forget that...

Makes me wonder what they would do at the Costcos back home with the relish, hot peppers, onions all laid out in containers. Probably make some sort of jiggae out of it using the coffee hot water dispenser.
