I'm not a shill for the site, and I hope this ok to mention, but it seems to be the best site out there for learning practical Korean. They have tons of audioblogs, with slow korean as well as line by line english translation, so you will completely understand what's being said. I'm not an ipod person, but apparently you can put it on that too.
They have a sale that ends tonight where you can get the site for about 6 bucks a month. It sucks that it isn't free, but that's a heck of a lot cheaper than classes. My only interest in this is seeing the site stays up. There is free content as well, but I don't think the site will be that useful without paying for the audioblog unfortunately. |

My Korean wiki will be the best source for learning Korean someday. I need good contributors though. Before I release it publicly i need to put up enough content. If anyone is interested please contact me. |

I like Koreanclass101.com too. The podcasts are free, you only have to pay if you want podcasts further back than three weeks and the extra features like pdf notes, access to the learning center, etc.
The tend to have specials throughout the year also if you sign up for a trial they offer you deals-haha hold out the deals get better and better until like the last 2 days of your trial ^_^
Also they have applications for learning vocabulary on your iTouch/iPhone.
If you've tried and liked Japanesepod101, I think you'll like Koreanclass101.com

That's for rich expats, not us ESLers. |

Must be the free Skype lessons that put it over the top.
The worst part would be signing up for a 1-year subscription (1000 bucks) and then either loosing interest in Korean or not having enough time to do all those things. |

I just found the site recently, so I need to pay to get the back content. For people who stay with the site for awhile, or advanced people you should do fine with the free content. I can't imagine that many people spring for the superpremium conent. If you're willing to spend that much, you might as well spring for lessons.
I wish they taught more vocabulary, I think the Sogang website is superior in that respect. Probably the best way woud be to get some textbooks, learn the vocabulary there, and then use the website to get you up to listening speed, and maybe pronuncation practice. Good luck with the studying everyone |

I doubt you do, but you never know, but if you happen to own "flash card manager" I could send you 30 chapters worth of vocabulary words. Each about 20-40 words per chapter. |
