I have read on here, but cannot find the threads, that people will sometimes ship boxes back to the U.S. I will be leaving in a few months and have 5 or 6 boxes to ship back to the U.S. so that i don't pay overweight charges/extra luggage charges with the airline. Also, time is not a factor. i heard there is an option somewhere that takes about 3 months. My question is: is the most cost efficient way to do this through the Korean Post Office? Or, is there another avenue that i should be looking at? |

the korean post office is the cheapest way to do this. its surface mail and can take up to 3 months. when i shipped things back last year it took about a month and a half. there's a limit to the size and weight of the box. you can buy the box at the post office. i think it costs about 25,000 won to ship a box that weighs about 20 kilos. just make sure you take the corners really well cause when my box arrived the corners were tore open and some clothes were hanging out of the box. |

You'll save some money if you use the boxes they sell at the Korean Post Office. |
