I bought a computer from someone here on Dave's. I'm not unhappy with it. It's a sound machine but it does have one minor irritating flaw. It doesn't play sound while it has a connection to the internet. This means I can't play music or watch videos. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this pretty hefty glitch short of reformatting the computer... I don't have the windows CD that comes with the serial number on the laptop. |

Try and find the sound card you have from your system profile and download and reinstall the sound card drivers. If that does not work, try to reinstall your network card drivers.
You should be able to download the drivers off the internet for free if you know who made your card. If you have something like 'dell' you can just go to their website and find the drivers for any make and model.
Or if the computer came with the drivers just reinstall them.
It might just be a crappy integrated sound card that you bought....share your specs if you can find them. Someone here would be more help.
How much ram do you have? More than 256mb? |

It's a Samsung Sens M50 and everything is integrated. So it's probably made here or China. The computer has 1Gb of Ram. The computer didn't have the drivers with it. |
