At my boys middle school the vast majority of the grade twos have turned into unmotivated, sullen little devils. Except for the (maybe) one or two 'keeners' in each class, one would think they're having a root canal, not an English lesson.
Oh well... only two weeks until December's final exams and movie time! The year's almost 'done'. |

I know what you're saying. November just seems to be a really tense month, with so much going on in addition to preparing for the last round of exams. Just count yourself lucky that you don't teach third-graders. |

But, would third graders be under pressure? Games and cookies is what they need to keep going. |

They're middle school, not elementary; but what they really need is 'nap time' - like kindergarten. |

I'll finish next week with "real" classes, before I get a two week break while students prepare for their final exam and take their tests. After their test, it's movie time for two weeks. The school year is quickly coming to an end |

Yeah, some students were jerks today. Then you have to yell and people outside proably blame it on you. No fkg rules suck. |
