My school is part of a rather large chain. Yet, I have been told to write teaching manuals for our new curriculum. The thing is, they haven't given us any material. It's fecking retarded. How the feck am I supposed to write a teaching manual when I don't even have books or a syllabus.

Not only that, we've also been asked to come up with ideas for fun classes on Wednesday because there is NO curriculum for Wednesday.

Next Tuesday is my last day at work, so I shouldn't give a feck, but I don't wanna give them any excuse to screw me at the last minute. I've heard of people being fired during their last week.

Rant over

MD

Why re-invent the wheel ...

There is plenty of stuff on the net that can be easily and simply cut and pasted into a book or manual.

Infact I would give them double what they asked asking for.

As usual, quantity and speed are more important say ... quality or accuracy.

He wants me to write an IBT TOEFL speaking and writing manual for a particular level. The funny things is we already have one for the exact same class. He said it's not good enough.

What did I do?

Change all the fonts, headings, and structure.
