Mine grew in perfectly well without the help of a dentist- never had a single problem. There are decent ones around- if you meet a foreigner that's been here a long time (5+ years) ask them.

I really hope I don't have to have my widom teeth pulled here... I'm just letting them come in and see what happens.

I had one of mine pulled out without a hitch, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Plus, you're American too, right? Any dental work you get done here will be much cheaper than back home, unless you have really amazing dental coverage.

If worried about the toothpaste, do what I do and go to the black market and buy Colgate, or any of the other American toothpastes on offer.

Colgate is evil. As are girls.

I had my wisdoms pulled out a couple years ago by a psycho. He "suggested" that since one of them had to be pulled, that I have the other 3 pulled out at the same time in order to save time and money. After that smart decision, I had an "out of this world" headache and couldn't eat anything but soup and jello for over a week.

Psy: having one wisdom pulled was bad enough, I honestly don't know how someone handles getting 3/4 out simultaneously...sounds like a trauma on a par with getting hit by a truck...
