Scanning through the job ads here on Daves, it looks like most jobs in China pay about 8,000 RMB.

8,000 RMB = 1,705,895.46 KRW

If that's what most jobs are paying, then it's still worse than Korea.

Not by much, and probably not much at all when cost of living is considered.

I was thinking the same thing. Buses are 2 kwai a trip (35 cents I think).

I'm going to China Sept. 1 2009. So yes I've entered the Korean count-down stage. And the money helped me make up my mind about leaving.

My question was about working in China. If you don't wanna answer the question, just shut the f*ck up. You don't know me, quit acting like you do. What makes you think you have the right to say anything about me? You have no idea who I am and I don't think we have met before, have we?

Hehe don't get so steamed, man! Taking life that seriously is probably why you failed so miserably here, failed miserably back home, and why you're going to fail in China. It's okay, I was young and angry once too. Then I turned three.

I was actually happy in Korea too. I was definantly a lot happier than most of the other westerners I met. I did tend to go on bitter rants here on Dave's, but that's what this site is all about. My drunken rants on this website are not an accurate depiction of who I really am. I am actually a happy, friendly guy.

Right now, I am making somewhat decent money to work a very unfulfilling job. The money is nothing to brag about, but it's decent. The city that I am living in is nice and clean, but it is rather boring. It has a very middle-America vibe for sure.

I am not unhappy right now, but I would have no problem with picking up and leaving either. I don't cling to things just because I am doing allright, I tend to take chances and make moves instead. I don't think that is a sign of being unfulfilled, it's more like an urge to experience lots of different places and things.

If I could, I would just keeping on moving and travel constantly, but I havn't found a way to make good money like that yet.

That's too much information about myself I think, but since people are psychoanalyzing me I might as well act like i'm talking to a shrink.

That will be the day I fly in also.

Korea is allright - a bit boring though.

Not an abundance, I think. Just a few that stand out. When they draw a bead on you, it seems like they just don't quit.

But, then the cost of living is far cheaper than Korea. You can also find extra ways to make money in China.

Korea has a tendency to turn people into smug a-holes.

I have worked in both countries. I definitely prefer China for several reasons. OP....PM me if you have any specific questions.
