can someone recommend a doctor's clinic in seoul, with directions? the doctor doesn't have to have tons of english, my question is a simple one. also, a walk-in clinic would be great (unless there's some way to easily make an appointment!)

thanks

I've been using the Serverin Hospital foreign clinic since I got here. They speak great English, by the way. They can be reached at 02-2228-5800. I also get the impression they don't do walk ins, but I could be wrong on that.

The people at Bestian Medical Center in Daechi-dong speak English. Take the 420 bus to Hanti Station (you'll be in front of Lotte Department store...by the way there are 2 Hanti Station stops, so take the 2nd one). Cross the street so that you are on the same side as Lotte Dept. Store. Walk a few blocks and Bestian will be on your left on the main street. You can get there the same way by taking the subway to Hanti Station (yellow line).

They do walk-ins and you usually don't have to wait a long time at all. I think the max I ever waited was 10 minutes. Don't go between 1-2pm as that is their lunch time. I don't know what time they close.

I don't know if they are opened Saturdays. You might want to have someone at your school call for you if you don't speak Korean.

Sorry, I don't know the exit number, but the Lotte Dept. store has a direct link from the subway. When you get out of the subway, just look on one of the maps in the station that tells you what exit Lotte is...it might even have the medical center on the list. Just make sure you are in front of the dept. store on the main street. The dept. store should be on your left, and walk a few blocks until you see the medical center on your left.

It's really easy to get to. Even if for some reason you are lost, ask someone for 베스티안 병원 (Best-ti-an byung won).
