Looking at past posts, breakfast sausage used to be available at Costco. McDonalds has it, as well as the All American Cafe. Can it be bought anywhere to cook at home? I've got sources for tortillas, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, buillon, American beef, etc. But have struck out with breakfast sausage. Anyone know where I can find it??? |

I doubt it..
Salt, pepper, sage, thyme, rosemary, brown sugar, red pepper flake, ground pork, mix. It's not rocket surgery, why would you want to buy it pre-made? |

Red Door in Itaewon has Jimmy Dean b'fast sausage. The real deal, not those little minature weeny-type things, if you know what I mean. Slice it up and fry up some eggs and make some milk/flour gravy. Goes down real good..... But it is about 7,000 won or so (still a bargain if you appreciate Jimmy Dean sausage) |

I read here somewhere costco has them. And I'm stealing the term "rocket surgery" by the way. |

Thanks to all. Red Door...it's like bend over and take it like an inmate. In addition to all her excuses for raising her prices because of "US dollah." Feel like saying, "No, it's the crapping Korean won." But she wouldn't understand. |

I don't know. It depends how experienced it is. My breakfast sausage was very naive, and always buying fake watches. It had been had many times. |

Thanks for the replies. I got a huge tub of sage today in Itaewon for 8500 won and then 4 lbs of ground pork from a market for less than 10,000 won. Made breakfast sausage that was great. So simple. Never knew it was so simple to make sausage. The tub of sage I got will probably last until I'm dead. Just need 2 teaspoons for 2 lbs of ground pork.
The house smells great too. Instead of the kimchi smell, it smells like a country kitchen back home in the US |

Home-made sausage is great, and easy. Once you've mastered it, try Italian sausage (both hot and sweet kinds) and Alsatian sausage. |
