Shouldn't some iron pills taken with a glass of orange juice solve this immediately?

jees people - get a life already !! stop badmouthing me - I'm not your freakin' punching bag - so what if you don't like what I said - do you honestly think I care??

>>so I'm being badmouthed for giving an upfront opinion of someone's >>obvious negligence of their own well-being

In your own words - uh, no. Do ya think it could be because...oh...you totally put down someone who was asking for advice on a serious medical issue?

>> - even tho I gave more help than anyone else -

Do you think the OP actually took in anything you wrote given those stupid remarks? HAHA. Go read what they wrote about you being a complete idiot.

>>jees people - get a life already !! stop badmouthing me - I'm not your >>freakin' punching bag - so what if you don't like what I said - do you >>honestly think I care??

>>really??

So what if we don't like what you said? Well then so what if YOU don't like what we say. You don't like receiving cutting remarks then don't go making them in the first place!! You really can't take what you dish out can you? You go and put down someone posting on a serious medical issue who WITHOUT QUESTION has more important things to do than worry about your insults and then you whine about getting backlash you deserve? TOO BAD!! I have no sympathy for you. The last thing anyone posting on medical issues needs is to be put down. GRAB A BRAIN AND SHOW SOME RESPECT!! Then maybe you'll get some back.

furthermore - you might just want to learn the word berate - there were NO disparaging remarks nor name-calling - rude acts by posters such as - yourself -

I only pointed out the obvious - which considering the short time frame within the OP has to find a solution - assuming the director hasn't already decided to fire her - she needs to get a grip and take control of the situation - without hesitation.

calling me a "hag" just because I happen to have the guts to say what needed to be said is simply, I donno - maybe stupid and immature? Shocked

*edit* plynx - by attacking me personally and not even addressing the OP - which I did, by the way - you really have just labeled yourself a greedy, attention starved, TROLL.

nope, not a troll. just someone who thinks that you were a little harsh with a poster who was asking for help. nice try, though. i happen to have the guts to say a few things on my mind, also. calling you a hag was a good call and i stand by it. you're being called out in this thread for being rude. learn from it.

Fixed.

Apologies for the gender-neutral "he." The poster is singular/plural confused to the point where I just had to pick something.

Lay off Moosehead, you shitneck. She was dancing this dance when you still had milk-teeth, you pup. Show a little respect.

English teacher my ass.

oh, honey. literary license tells me i can type in all lower case letters if i find it appropriate. you calling me a "shitneck" is actually pretty amusing. do you know moosehead personally? or, for that matter, myself? moosehead was exceptionally condescending to a poster because of her own shortcomings. i simply saw fit to point it out. if that makes you want to correct my own writing style, that's great. but sometimes it's good for those of us on the board who don't think it's acceptable to act like an asshole to step in and show a little support for people asking for help.

you're right, i am not an english teacher, nor do i ever wish to be.

and speaking of pups, didn't you just get here?

EDIT: to answer your question - yes, "gotten" is a word

Whoa! Too many Unhappy people on this thread Embarassed Crying or Very sad

OP, I have some suggestions:

Exclamation Go to your local Homeplus or any drugstore and get some iron pills or multi-vitamins.
Surprised Go to a doctor and ask what foods contain iron, and eat them in moderation
Wink Have pills/vitamins shipped EXPRESS from home.

It sucks to feel sick in a foreign country. I once was sick for 2 weeks from a bad pizza.

Sucks for me because I really like pizza Rolling Eyes

I understand literary license. I corrected your writing not because I was sticking up for Moosehead (who certainly doesn't need my help answering you) but because I was getting a headache from trying to read your writing and thought I'd make an effort to spare other readers here the same.

You're posting on a forum for English teachers. The assumption followed.

I referred to you as a pup, because, compared with Moosehead, you are one. Don't redirect. It's as childish as your writing.

Thank you for the clarification on gotten. You'll observe that I made it a question (as I meant it) rather than a correction. I'll make a note of it.

I didn't think my original post would make everyone fight. For those who actually care about my situation I am fine now, and still have my job. My director is fair and understanding plus she'd probably lose money on firing me.

As to the comment about iron pills and orange juice: no it will not work immediately, however I am now taking more vitamins (with include iron and vitamin C) and eating a lot more.

Comment about gender: yes, I'm a she, sorry for any confusion.

Thanks everyone for your responses.

Lug, please take advantage of the cheap doctor and test fees here while you can. Go to any hospital and don't tell them about an iron deficiency, just let them do their thing and give you another opinion. Passing out is extremely serious. Even if the signs do point to iron, a 4 year lapse before it restarted is reason enough to go to a hospital ASAP. Please.

From an employers perspective your passing out in class is a serious problem. It is scary for the students and you could really get hurt if you hit your head. Also rumors could fly about the nature of your problem. My suggestion is to go to the doctor with someone from the schoolso that they can tell the director the true nature of the problem. Good luck and get healthy soon.

Moosehead, for heaven's sake...you were criticized here because you
were rude, unkind, condescending and mean-spirited. Your post was
not primarily related to honesty, it was primarily related to nastiness.
