What do you think would happen in this situation. Hypothetically...
The kids are both Elementary aged, one is in 5th the other 1st.
The mom is 36 and speaks no Korean and little English. She does own a home in Japan which I assume she would sell to put towards an apartment.
(This is not my idea, it is hers. To me it smacks of pie in the sky. But... )

| What would she do for money? Those kids would have a terrible time in public school being who they are. Why would she want to do this? |

She's going to school to be an interior designer.
That's what I told her.
She wants to marry me.
I work in a uni and like my vacations because I can visit my family back home for longer than 10 days and still keep my job. In Japan my qualifications will only get me a cram school job similar to hagwon indentured servitude here.

| Her kids will get beaten up. After 3-4 bloody noses and ripped clothing she'll change her mind and want to go home.. except she sold it for you. SEE WHAT YOU DID! You're ruining her life!@!!11! |

| Will she go to school in Korea? I`m guessing the kids arent yours huh? Might just be better for you to move there since she has roots down with her own home and such. |

That's great and all, but do you want to marry her? She'd be sacrificing a lot to move to Korea with her two children to be with you. Don't take it lightly, man. |

She finishes her schooling in March.
Yep, not mine. I dig them though.
I'd like to, but returning to the bottom of the food chain scares me. What benefits are there to holding a Japanese spousal visa? Their treatment of foreigners is already so much more humane I can't imagine what employment benefits I might gain. |

| It`s like the F married visa here in Korea. It allows you to do whatever you want. Work, study, do nothing. But it does require a guarantor, which is typically your spouse |
