It snowed at my school this afternoon..

Kept snowing for a good 2 hours (1pm ~ 3pm)...

by 6pm - the snow had just turned to water on the ground...

but isn't it a bit early this year?

I don't remember it snowing in November in the previous few years...

It got hit bad with snow in November 2005.. It snowed one Saturday night and on Sunday all trains and buses were cancelled out of the city. All was back to normal by Monday though.

(And I'm talking about Jeolla-do Gwangju, not Gyeonggi-do)

We got hit, too... when I asked if it was always this cold before the winter, they said yes. 20?? Really? I'm gonna need me some more long underwear. I haven't worn fewer than 3 shirts all week.
It was still around today until it started to rain instead.

My memory tells me we had an exceptionally long fall this year. What we haven't had was the week or so of cold gloomy rain around Halloween-time. I remember one year the students told me winter would begin on November 5 and I scoffed at the lunar calendar. Silly me. It snowed that day.
