|
|
Basically, my years and years of loud music have finally caught up with me at a very young age....combined with the fact that Korean clubs usually are too loud and very bad acoustics, I've found myself getting hearing damage from going out clubbing here(w/ ear plugs!).
So While I go out with friends and all, I now gotta usually leave once they hit the clubs and that blows... I figure I'll hang out else where and maybe meet up with them later.
So does anybody know if there are any good lounges or western style bars(not wa bars) in korea? I know itaewon has them, but I don't wanna spend all my Friday nights there.
Know of any in areas like Sinchon, Hongdae, konkuk, and apgujeong. |

Hmmm, you could just sit around the house and double post on Dave's.

Hongdae has a few mellow places to just relax and drink casually without blaring music. I cant think of the names of most of them, but I know Brixx (across from Club FF) is probably the type of place you are looking for. |

sheesha(hooka) bars are usually chill, and there is at least one in Hungdai that serves cheap beer , and a block of sheesha is like 10,000 won. |

Watts on Tap seemed like a decent western bar last time i was there. It's very small though. It's somewhere in hongdae or sinchon. I could find it on foot but my directions would be unreliable. |

Thanks for the advice.....
I think I'll take up swing dancing...hopefully the swing dancing clubs here aren't blaring loud as clubs. |

Most of the folks around here spend their weekend nights masturbating to hentai while drinking Cass Red/soju boiler-makers. |
