I'm not quite certain what I need to do for the criminal background check. I'm a US resident and I need to know if I just need to get one for my local County, State, or if I need to get a federal check. And then what, if anything, i need to do with it after I get it. Apostled, what the hell is that? Does it involve a guy named Peter? As usual, any advice is appreciated.
County, State and Federal checks are all acceptable. The Apostille is an agreement that many countries joined to indicate the authenticity of a document. Have the document sent to the State Department to take care of this.
