I used the google advanced search, great tool by the way, and it seems it is available here, but no one mentioned where. For those who haven't heard of it, it's a root to help insomnia/anxiety. Can this be found in a pharmacy and what is its name in Korean? |

I have heard of it. I think you can find it in the tea section. I've had it before. I have taken camomille when I've been under a lot of stress. It's good as well. Take valerian at night. However, if you are under a lot of stress, then drink strong camomille tea during the day. It will help soothe your nerves. |

You could find the teas at Homever with no problem. I also found them at a chain store called Watson's. I am certain E-Mart should them, as well. Camomille is somewhat easier to find, but I definitely found both at Watson's. I believe Lipton makes Valerian, so it would be a piece of cake, relatively, to find it.
Good luck, pal. Bonne chance, mon ami. Je vous souhaite beaucoup de bonheur. |

I used to use Valerian in uni and you can smell it a mile away. Go to a market and stop when you can smell dirty socks and feet...that's the valerian. |

I've lived in a Russian household for most of my life, so I'm very familiar with "valerianka."
I think the teas can be found, though they're not as effective as the concentrate liquid stuff you drop into water (which I brought over but am nearly finished).
I know they do have some of their own natural stuff available here, too (sorry, don't know names). |

I have Valerian root supplements but if you want a sleep aid, go for melatonin.
And no, Korea doesn't have Valerian root. My buddy from the U.S. brought it for me. |
