Can those who have actually been to these places let me know.
As near as I can tell VIETNAM needs one, but I can just arrive and get it stamped into my passport when I get there ( much like the Dominican Republic)
But I have not found information about Cambodia yet.
We are flying to Thailand with a 20 hour layover in Hanoi, any recomendations on what to see in Hanoi? |

For Cambodia, yes, you do. It will cost $20 (US) on arrival, cash only, or for $5 more you can get it online, provided you have a JPEG mug shot. It will save you time filling out the paperwork at the border/airport.

You'll get it in a couple of hours to a day later, just print it out, and sail through passport control and/or jump ahead everyone else. Definitely worth it. |

I'm Canadian and I was in both countries in January.
You NEED to arrange a visa in advance for Vietnam. For Cambodia you can get one on arrival at any of the major border crossings. |
