this might be a stupid question, so im sorry if the answer is obvious and i just dont know it...
BUT
I work for EPIK now in Busan, if I wanted to move to Seoul next year, would I still be working for EPIK and re signing a contract with them, or would it be a whole different person (GEPIK maybe?!).....

i just dont understand what is what. i want to stay with EPIK, so if moving out of Busan moves leaving them then i wont.....

please help!

As far as I know EPIK does not serve the Seoul area. That would be SMOE.

Seoul is covered by SMOE (http://etis.sen.go.kr/).

Gyeonngi-do is covered by GEPIK (http://cge.ken.go.kr/eng/).

The rest of Korea is covered by EPIK.

If you want to go to Seoul you'll need to apply with SMOE. Your salary level will depend on how much experience you have and your qualifications. Also, your contract will probably be different.

As far as I know there is no way to directly transfer from one programme to another, other than applying for a position like everyone else.

You will have to go to Incheon city [ on subway to Seoul] as that is the only EPIK organized placement in that area.

SMOE is very difficult to get into and not many jobs coming up for March 2009 .
