WTF is going on with Gmarket? Don't they want business?

Now what has Gmarket done?

They made it so you can't use any browser but IE. And now they've apparently made it so you can't even use IE.

I have been trying to order all day, on different computers, but am getting nowhere.

I get a screen with the following unhelpful message:

"Under processing. Please wait."

Beneath it is a pulsing orange bar. This can go on for hours.

Next to it is an error message:
Quote:

Microsoft VBScript 런타임 오류 오류 '800a0005'

프로시저 호출 또는 인수가 잘못되었습니다.

/challenge/neo_order/order_rslt_multi.asp, 줄 1085

Sure, Gmarket provides a pseudo-English shopping option. But it is also the must disorganized jumble of a flashing mess website I have ever seen.

But at least it used to work.

Or is it just me? Anyone been able to order today?

I'm sure they will get it worked out soon.

I applaud G-market for working hard to open the website to foreigners in English. It usually works very well. Most Korean sites don't work with anything but IE. They depend heavily on cut/pasted HTML and ActiveX. This will have to change, as Microsoft is phasing out ActiveX.

I haven't placed an order with G-Market for a few weeks, but I hope they get it worked out. It was one of the cheapest places to buy cat litter and food for my kitty. Three containers of litter and 4kg of good quality cat food for 66,000.

Even without translator, I can see that says VBScript Runtime Error.

I ordered yesterday no problem. I order on the Korean side of the site as it's cheaper. When u order something from the English it's often more expensive. I don't know why this is, though. It's like one price for a Korean order and another for a waygook. Some people have said that's because of the English service, but that dog don't hunt, IMHO.

I just ordered and paid for stuff fro GMarket on Monday. Worked fine.....

perhaps theres a problem with the item you are ordering or your account.

Ive never noticed a price difference in items on the K side and the English side of the site....just comparing what i bought yesterday and its all the same price.

but it looks like shipping is maybe 1,000 more or something....not really a huge difference seeing as they send me stuff via english address.

I think that's because they add the delivery charge in with the English order. You can choose to pay it to the delivery guy directly in Korean. Prices have always been the same for me, but anything can change and vendors differ, I suppose.

Yeah, lots of things are the same price but I've found some things are more. This week I ordered from them and couldn't get the English side to match the price on the K-side so I just ordered it from the k-side. Same a couple of months ago when I ordered a MP3 player. And, it wasn't the shipping charge either.
