Do you use Karaoke style videos with the lyrics in class for singing songs? I'm not finding much for Christmas music that I really want to bring to class. I now wish I had made a copy of this Christmas song CD I used last year in a hagwon.
Anyone know any links to videos and songs suitable for elementary age? Thanks in advance. |

Surely most of you are doing Christmas activities with your students starting next Monday. These activities usually include singing Christmas songs like Jingle Bells. I like using videos with the karaoke style words on screen along with a visual. Of course, this is elementary level I'm talking about. Often elementary level of materials are difficult to find as there's a lack of public interest so you'd have to buy them from the publishers. For example, you can't find Miss Mary Mack material unless you order it from a publisher in the states. These sorts of things are usually not on Youtube and Mininova, but I did find adult versions. It's not that I'm too stingy to buy them, I just don't find a store or source to buy them from in Korea like you easily can in the states. I did find a few songs on Youtube such as Banana Phone and BINGO the elementary students love.
OK, any elementary teachers doing elementary songs with your students? If so, where did you find them? Thanks in advance. |

Just go to youtube and do a search for "Christmas songs with lyrics" . I did it just now and I am listening to white Christmas by Shania Twain".
I notice there is also Hanna Montana Christmas songs and Maria Carey.
They like that song " last christmas" |

Only a few?? My Youtube channel has 105 or so after some copyright deletions...
Find the .mp3 and then make them with karafun. You can download any youtube into an .mp3 and go from there.
Also check out EFLclassroom as there are some active members in the karaoke club who post up (read share) their .kfn files. |
