I understand the official nba jerseys are made in Korea. I have looked in Songtan but I cant find any jerseys there at all. Does anyone know where I can buy authentic nba jerseys? Someone must be selling them somewhere. |

im a sports fan, and I guess I understand the desire to have something "authentic" but who really cares if it was made FOR the NBA or by some little korean man or woman to sell at a cheap price? Go to Itaewon and walk around for about 3 minutes and you can find at least 10 little shops that will sell you a jersey for 20,000 won! Some will even personalize the jersey if you are a big fan of a team, and want a jersey with your last name on it:) |

Also outside of the Osan A.F.B there are a ton of people selling jersey's. I picked up a Unitas throw back jersey for 20,000w

Are these jerseys you can get on the street for cheap actually decent looking? That is, does the logo look authentic, and is the lettering the same as it would be on the real thing? |

Absolutely they are identical to the authentic official ones shiiped out of Korea to America.
I have three, even compared them when visiting back home in a sports goods store, happily seeing they were identical, only I paid under $20 instead of over a $100. |

Yeah they look great!!! I believe it was last year, someone from off Osan was listing the jersey's on ebay and shipping them using his APO address. He got busted but he made over $10,000 before he got caught. And the only reason he got caught is he was using his APO so that the shipping was cheap as can be. |

Most of the jerseys sold in Osan and Itaewon of late are cheap crap. The material is not the same as authentic nor are the designs. If you dont mind wearing something that is obviously a cheap fake then go for it. Ive bought a few just because even though they were not authentic they looked good. Shoes are the same.
This post was meant as an inquiry into where to get authentic jerseys not a discussion on why cheap crap is as good as authentic merchandise.
If you managed to get one that is the same as authentic then great. It also seems unlikely that someone made 10,000$ selling fake $20 jerseys. Especially since ebay will shut down people selling fakes pretty quickly. But, it would be awesome if someone managed to do it.
I am still wondering if anyone knows if and where authentic jerseys can be found. |

Even if he was making $100 profit that would be 100 jerseys and it seems unlikely to get 100 packages through customs.
Who said 1 jersey per package...hmmm
Even with 10 jerseys per package it is unlikely both ebay and APO would miss 10. Seems like an urban legend or a fish story.
I still want to know where to get jerseys??????????????????? |
