|
|
Has anybody ever waited more than two weeks for the visa issuance number to come through? My employer received my documents more than two weeks ago (10th November) yet I'm still waiting, and he hasn't replied to my email asking for updates (sent on friday). If he doesn't respond soon I'm going to call them...
Everybody keeps on asking when I am going and I keep saying "within a couple of weeks" |

My issuance number took 15 days.
On a completely unrelated note: the consulate denied my visa. |

Is that working days? And just out of interest, why did they deny your visa? |

Nah, calendar days. Submitted on a monday, got it a fortnight later.

| My documents arrived in Korea last Friday and I'm still waiting on the visa number as well. I hope I won't get rejected.... |

Bump...
I sent my docs to Korea, they took over ten days to process. Got my issuance number and now must wait 10 more days until I get my visa... such a lengthy process. The school wanted me by Dec 10th, but now I've been told that if I can't make it by the 23rd, don't bother coming until the 30th. Great way to start a job. :S |

I signed my contract a week ago and waiting for the visa number right now. My first day of work (on the contract) is Jan. 12. Do you think there is enough time?
I also live 8 hours away from my nearest consulate! That sucks. |

Yeah it is annoying, with people asking 'what date do you fly?' all the time, and you just don't know! Don't worry about it though, just enjoy Christmas at home... |

That means they were too lazy to check. |
