I do not know if chips and such are available in the ROK but I will be sure to bring some and several good decks of casino quality cards in Feb.

I would really prefer a Saturday as it's easier for me to get to Seoul... As far as what bar, I have no clue... I've never been to Itaewon or Hongdae or any other stomping grounds... but booths are bad for poker, to hard to hide your cards if you're the guy in the middle.

Discretion is also advisable as gambling is illegal last I heard. So a bar with a cool landlord or else someone's pad.

I am actually going to fleece some red necks at my local native american casino in a few minutes. However, I will be arriving around 1/2 Febuary in the ROK and sure as hell hope there is a game going around t he end of the month. As I said before, will be in Pohang, but will travel anywhere to play.

yup I'd probably be interested in this one. That's assuming my man Dave williams hasn't shipped some of the $3.5 mill he scooped today my way and I've gone to the Bahamas :p. Otherwise poker junkies just sign yourself up to one of the many many internet sites and play to your hearts content (Its more fun than privates)......

Mainly pot limit Hold'em on stars, thoiugh I've played on coral a bit this week, I used to play on party poker all the time but they got snotty when I moved out her and they made me cash out my account. I'd be fine with a 100,000 buyin so long as the limits are low.

i play at Coral now, but have played, truepoker, party, pkrstars, empire, you name it. I am actually an affiliate at Coral, so i get a cut jsut for playing.

I shouldnt have said 100k buy in, i meant, 100k wont hurt me.

But 100 isnt that much even if we play 1k 2k limits for holdem

or couple a couple of 50k winner take all tournies

lets get this thing to work... we need a place? chips? and beer thats it!

anyone got a decetnt sized room, table???
