It would be nice to make friends with some Asian women who are not Korean. Maybe some Chinese, Japanese, Pinays or Thais. My guess is that they will have more in the area of "Personality". I know that is a generalization. Have any off you made friends or girlfriends with non-Korean Asians here in Korea?

I have many Chinese friends and Japanese friends. Met them all while attending a language school here.

About your personality question, it depends on the person, but I tend to enjoy the company of the Japanese women more than the Chinese ones, but really no more than just a Korean girl.

Korean girls = Japanese girls >>> Chinese girls

I've been trying (somewhat successfully) to learn Mandarin whilst held captive here in Korea, and I've found that www.hanlingo.com is a good place to meet people for language exchanges. You can sort by native language and location, which is a start.

Note: most people view this site as a de facto dating site, but it can actually be used for its intended purpose as well.

Probably the best way to meet non-Koreans is in a Korean language class.
