Hi
I was just wondering how the Casino in Seoul compares to the one in Busan ( i assume there is only one in Seoul - I mean the one near Seoul tower)?
Can i still play blackjack at 10,000 won per game instead of the 30,000 - 50,000 per game tables?
Is there a duty free shop inside?
Are there free drinks, food, smokes ect like the casino in Busan?
Thanks for any help! |

For the Seven Luck Casino in the Hilton near Seoul Station, most games start at 5,000 won. They also have a 2,000 minimum blackjack table. Free drinks if you are seated and betting. |

I know of three casinos in Seoul. Seven Luck has two locations in Seoul. One is adjacent to the Millennium Seoul Hilton. This place has 1,000 won blackjack, roulette, and all the games you find in Busan. The other Seven Luck location is in Gangnam. I haven't played there, but I would guess that it is roughly equivalent to the Millennium Seoul Hilton's set up.
The casino located at Walker Hill is my favorite. They have a 5000won BJ table, but it is always full. The main attraction at this casino is their poker room. The game is no limit Texas Holdem. The blinds are 1000/2000, but expect to buy in at the table for 200~500,000.
Hope this helps. |

Remember to bring ID, they've been asking everyone for a passport lately. |

There are several threads on this topic floating around on this board. Everyone seems to have a differing opinion on the level of service and the overall experience of the casinos in Seoul.
I was at 7Luck in Coex last Saturday and again found the staff somewhat arrogant and resentful of foreigners in general - regardless of how small or large I was betting. I was dressed semi-formal with dress pants and a dress shirt, too. They certainly don't speak English, either. I speak pretty decent Korean, but you would think in a place designated foreigners-only they could understand a simple drink order.
Others on this board are cockeyed optimists and claim their experiences are great. I guess you'll have to take a chance and see for yourself! Good luck! |

7luck sucks.
It is a weekday afternoon and the casino is slow. the 5,000w blackjack table was full with 6 people standing around it. I asked the pit boss to open another 5,000w table and they said no. I pointed at the people waiting and the pit boss just walked away.
You would think they would just open another 5,000 table. They had casino staff just standing around, and its not like they were going LOSE money by opening up.
It also pissed me off cuz at the 5,000w table, the people sitting were betting 20,000-50,000w a hand. WTF?!? GO TO A DAMN 10,000w TABLE!
I know I'm going to lose money at the Casino. I'd rather watch my money go slowly at a cheap table, instead of lose it all in half an hour. |
