I'll be moving to a new school, also in GEPIK, in mid December. Is there anything I should check regarding my pension before I leave my present school forever?

I'm not overly concerned that the payments weren't being made but I was wondering if I ought to ascertain my account number or something like that before I leave.

And if so, where do I go to do that?

Regards,
Art

Your account number is your ARC / ID number.

If you have on-line banking (with certificate) you can check on-line.
If you don't, you have to pop into a pension office to get the info.

http://www.nps.or.kr for the website (click the English link) to find the office nearest to you.

As the previous poster said, pension is keyed into your ALien Registration Card number.

When you get a new alien card with your new job, the number will be the same. Your money will keep going in on top of what is already there.

No need to worry.

You don't have to do anything. If you want to check on how much money you have, you can go to an office with your ARC card and ask (or call and ask).

But it's not required. You can't take the money out, and your new school will (ok, SHOULD) pay in to the same account without problems. You don't change anything, or need to notify them. I have traveled around Korea, and all the payments from the different jobs end up in the same account.
